Like most red blooded teenage males of my era, I had a room covered in posters of the hottest, most scantily clad, women of the day.
My guy friends would come over and would just sit in the middle of the room, glassy-eyed, and would drool.
My girlfriend thought the wall was the most disgusting, degrading thing she had ever seen.
While the wall was adorned with the likes of Suzanne Somers, Cheryl Tiegs, Loni Anderson, Bo Derek, Morgan Fairchild, Donna Dixon, Tanya Roberts, Lydia Cornell, and many others…..the true Queen of the Wall….was…
Farrah Fawcett….
and “The Poster”…..
Probably, the greatest poster ever produced.
Just this past year, I was fortunate to get a signed photo from Farrah Fawcett before she passed away. (www.redriverautographs.wordpress.com) She was a great, classy lady who will be greatly missed. “The Poster” though will live on for ages!
