The Wall of Women

When I was in High School, I was your average red-blooded, horndog teenage guy. I had posters on every inch of my bedroom wall. While other guys had posters of cars, motorcycles, or heavy-metal bands….I had one thing on my wall. Women. Scantily clad women. Lot’s of them.

My Mother, my girlfriend, and every female friend and relative absolutely hated my wall.

To my Dad and all my guy friends, the wall was a virtual shrine to the beautiful women of that era.

I have searched the net and have tried to find photos of as many of the posters as possible. I have found most of them. I have posted below the poster images that I was able to find.

I have had fairly good luck in my autograph collecting hobby in trying to obtain the autograph of some of these ladies. These successes include Morgan Fairchild, Cheryl Tiegs, Loni Anderson, Lydia Cornell, Cheryl Ladd, Suzanne Somers, and the late Farrah Fawcett. (www.redriverautographs.wordpress.com) I was unable to find a photo of the original Suzanne Somers and Bo Derek posters that I had so other photos have been substituted.

And without further delay…..the WALL OF WOMEN

How many do you guys remember?

Let me add a third comment. Mark, you remember and honor these beautiful women very well. I loved them all then. And, looking at your Wall here reminds me of exactly why! Lydia, you remain not only gorgeous, but, classy all the way. Hats off to you both!!!
