‘Til Tuesday

‘Til Tuesday was a Boston-Based American New Wave Band that is best remembered for their signature hit “Voices Carry” which hit #8 on the Billboard Top-40 Charts in 1985.

The music video for “Voices Carry” was one of the most popular videos of the mid 1980′s.

The group formed in 1982 and broke up in 1988.

They did have a minor hit with the 1986 song “What about Love?” which hit #26 on the Billboard Charts.

The members of ‘Til Tuesday were:

Aimee Mann – Vocals, Bass
Robert Holmes – Guitar, Vocals
Joey Pesce – Keyboards
Michael Hausman – Drums

Aimee Mann went on to record as a solo artist and became a sought-after soundtrack contributor in the film industry. Her original song “Save Me” from the movie “Magnolia” was nominated for both Grammy Awards and an Academy Award.

Since 1993, Aimee Mann has released 7 solo albums.
