British Singer and Actor Murray Head had his One-Hit Wonder with the 1984 hit “One Night in Bangkok“.
The song peaked at #3 on the Billboard Top-40 Charts.
The song was from the musical “Chess“, in which Murray Head was an actor.
The music for “One Night in Bangkok” was composed by Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson of ABBA.
As an actor, he appeared in a number of British films in the 1960′s and early 1970′s and has appeared in numerous Television productions in the UK over the years.
I always get a kick out of One-Hit Wonders that release “Greatest Hits” albums….don’t you?
