I have always loved this song. It should have started her on a long career on the charts, but it didn’t.
A follow-up single “Let Me Go, Love” (with Michael McDonald) peaked at #35 on the Billboard Charts.
During the 1980′s she switched her focus to Country Music with her top hit being her 1986 single with Steve Wariner “That’s How You Know When Love’s Right” which reached #9 on the Billboard Country Charts.
The spelling of her name on the video above is incorrect. The video must have been taken from a foreign show.
She was a successful session vocalist and recorded with the likes of Neil Young, Dolly Parton, Jimmy Buffet, and others.
She died in 1997 at the age of 45.
