Another Classic Beauty from decades past….
Donna Mills was born Donna Jean Miller in Chicago, Il in 1940.
She attended the University of Illinois, but left at the age of 20 to pursue a career as an Actress and Dancer.
Prior to Films and Television, she starred in Chicago and New York Theater productions.
She is best known for her long-running role as Abby Cunningham on the CBS Drama “Knots Landing” which ran from 1979-1993. (Mills left in 1989)
The role still holds up as one of the best female vixens in TV History.
She got her first big break in 1971 when she co-starred with Clint Eastwood in the film “Play Misty for Me“.
She spent much of the 70′s appearing on popular shows such as “The Six Million Dollar Man“, “Fantasy Island“, “Chips“, “The Love Boat“, etc.
In the 1990′s, she had a recurring role on the popular series “Melrose Place“.
In recent years, she has continued to do Television work, appearing in shows such as “Cold Case“, “Dirty Sexy Money“, and “Nip/Tuck“.
She has never married and has one adopted daughter.
Later in 2010, she will turn 70 yrs old. (Unbelievable!)
