Tommy Shaw is an American Guitarist and Singer.
Since 1976, he has been a member of the group “Styx” and has sang lead vocals on many of it’s biggest hits including “Too Much Time on my Hands”, “Fooling Yourself”, “Renegade”, “Blue Collar Man”, and others.
In the early 1990′s, he also co-founded the group Damn Yankees with Ted Nugent and Jack Blades.
Tommy Shaw has released 3 solo albums during his career.
The first solo album was 1984′s “Girls with Guns” which spawned his only Top-40 solo hit, “Girls with Guns“, which peaked at #33 on the Billboard Top-40 Charts.
The song climbed as high as #6 on the Billboard Rock Charts in 1984.
He still tours and performs with Styx, along with making frequent concert appearances with Jack Blades in a collaboration known as “SHAW BLADES“.
