Wet Wet Wet

Wet Wet Wet is a Scottish Rock Band that was popular in the United Kingdom and Europe during the 1980′s and 1990′s.

Although popular in Europe, the group was not able to crack the Top-40 Charts here in the US.

I was a fan of theirs when I lived in England in the mid 1980′s and was surprised they never cracked the charts in the US given their huge popularity in the UK.

The group released 8 Studio Albums between 1987-2007.

The group has charted 29 singles onto the British Charts in their career.

Three singles have reached #1 on the British Charts.

Their most successful single was “Love is All Around” which spent 15 consecutive weeks at #1 on the British Charts in 1994.

The closest they came to cracking the Top-40 here in the US was the single “Wishing I was Lucky” which peaked at #58 on the Billboard Charts in 1987.

The group is still active and still does frequent tours through Europe.
