Cliff Richard

Sir Cliff Richard is an English Singer and Songwriter and has long been one of the most revered singers in the History of British Music.

He started in the late 1950′s with his group “Cliff Richard and the Shadows“. From the late 1950′s, through the early 1960′s, the group dominated the British Music Scene until…..the arrival of The Beatles.

Over the course of his career with The Shadows, and as a Solo artist, he has charted hits onto the British Charts in 6 different decades.

He has had #1 hits on the British Charts in 5 different decades.

In his career, he has had Nine Top-40 singles here in the US.

Three of those singles cracked the Top-10 of the Billboard Charts.

His most successful US single has been “Devil Woman” which peaked at #6 on the Billboard Charts in 1976.

In his native United Kingdom, he has charted an amazing 126 Top-40 hits during his career, with 14 of those singles reaching #1 on the British Charts.

With 21 Million singles sold in the United Kingdom, Cliff Richard places 1st on the All-Time list, just ahead of The Beatles.

Over his career, he has released 32 Studio Albums.

Now 69yrs old, he is still going strong and released his most recent Album in 2009.
