Split Enz
Split Enz was a New Zealand New Wave/Punk Group that is often classified as a One-Hit Wonder though it’s one hit never actually cracked the Top-40 here in the US.
The group is best known for the 1980 single “I Got You” which peaked at #53 on the Billboard Top-40 Charts.
Though together from 1972-1984, and after having done 10 Albums, the group was never able to crack the Top-40 charts here in the US though they were very popular in New Zealand, Australia, and Europe.
After the breakup of Split Enz, some of its members went on to form the group Crowded House.
