She was born in Chicago in 1960, but was raised in Lake Oswego, Or.
To many, she is best known for being Mrs. Bruce Springsteen during a period in the 1980′s.
As an Actress, she has appeared in theatrical films such as “Skin Deep“, “Fletch Lives“, “A Fine Mess“, “Big Bully” and others.
She has appeared in a number of Made-for-Television movies and also starred on the series “Sisters” from 1991-1996.
She was a successful model in the early 1980′s and was represented by the Elite Modeling Agency.
Phillips met Bruce Springsteen in 1984 and they were married in Oregon in 1985. As a Native Oregonian myself, I can tell you that the media attention (in Oregon) given their wedding rivaled that of the marriage of Prince Charles and Lady Diana. To most Oregonians, an Oregon girl was marrying Musical Royalty, as Bruce Springsteen was one of the most popular singers in the world during that period of the 1980′s.

I have always found Julianne Phillips one of the most attractive actresses going. I thought she was awesome in Sisters, as were all the ladies but if memory serves me corrcet it was Sela Warn who garnished the accolades. I would go on to say she does not appear a match with Bruce Springstein, as it turned out, I suppose she was not.

I’m a HUGE Boss fan and was extremely disappointed when I first heard he was screwing around on his wife with this Patti broad. Found it interesting to have also read that Patti denied she was pregnant when in reality she was, and Bruce was still married to that beauty, Julianne. Too bad he left class for trash! Love you and your music Bruce, but you’re totally un-Catholic!
