Whitesnake

Whitesnake is a British Rock Band first formed in 1977 by former Deep Purple singer David Coverdale.

The group has broken up on numerous occasions, and has gone through a number of musicians in the group, with David Coverdale being the only member to remain in each incarnation of the band.

To date, Whitesnake has released 11 Studio Albums and 4 Live Albums.

Their hits have included:

Here I Go Again
The Deeper the Love
Is This Love?
Fool for your Loving
Give me all your Love
Still of the Night
Crying in the Rain
Slip of the Tongue
Now You’re Gone

The group’s top single has been “Here I go again” which reached #1 on the Billboard Top-40 Charts in 1987.

“Is this Love?” reached #2 on the Billboard Charts, also in 1987.

David Coverdale was in a relationship with Actress Tawny Kitaen during much of the 1980′s, and they were married from 1989-1991. She appears in many of the Music Videos of the groups top hits.

The latest version of Whitesnake is still together and recently toured the globe with Judas Priest.
