Sammy Johns is an American Singer and Songwriter best known for his 1975 One-Hit Wonder “Chevy Van” which peaked at #5 on the Billboard Charts.
While he has written hit songs for artists such as Waylon Jennings, Conway Twitty, and others… “Chevy Van” was his only Top-40 hit on either the Billboard Charts or Billboard Country Charts.
