Former member Vince Clarke left the group in 1981 to form the group “Yazoo” (Yaz) and later formed the group “Erasure“.

The group has sold over 100 Million Albums worldwide and is the most successful “Electronic” New Wave Band in Music History.

The group is still very much active and released their latest Album, “Sounds of the Universe“, in 2009. They are currently touring the Globe in support of that Album.
